Negril Part 2

Black outfit: Leotard: American Apparel (wearing a Large) / Skirt: Forever21 (old) / Lipstick: Nars Funny Face / Bag: Christian Dior with a Kate Spade cross body strap that I attached

Dress: Forever21 (old) / Lipstick: Nars Funny Face

Happy first day of December, I hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend! I wanted to continue my vacation post by adding a few outfits I wore over in Jamaica.  Some of the other photos I took didn't come out very well since the sun starts to set around 5pm.  By the time we were dressed for dinner, it was too dark to take any photos!  These were the only few that came out decent.

My black outfit features a leotard from American Apparel (on sale for Cyber Monday) which I love and wear all the time.  I like the sleek-tucked in look.  Wearing a black tank doesn't give the same sleek effect since it bunches up as the day goes on.  My polka dot high-low skirt is an old one from Forever21.  My cross body bag is from Christian Dior.  I've never felt softer leather in my life! Fun fact - the bag actually doesn't come with a strap.  I had to take a strap from a Kate Spade bag I own and wrap it around the CD bag.  You would never know!

My dress is another oldie but goodie.  It's my signature vacation dress and I only wear it on vacation.  I purchased this from Forever21 about 6 years ago.  It was actually a maxi dress and I decided I wanted it short, so I cut it. I love the fit and the colors; I think it's a perfect vacation - beach dress. It's a little low cut for me to wear back at home so hence why I only wear this while I'm away.

My lipstick in both photos is from Nars in the color Funny Face.  It's a great fuschia pink color that goes on very smooth with a matte look.  I have a few lipsticks from MAC that are matte but they do not go on smooth at all and I hate them.  This lipstick is soooo much better. If you want some shine, add a bit of clear gloss.  I've been struggling to find a good pink lipstick that isn't barbie pink, and I think I nailed it with Funny Face.

Thanks for visiting!

Negril Beach Time

Cover-Up: Missguided (sold out in green but available in white) / Bandeau Top: Rio De Sol / Bikini Bottom: Solkissed

Just got back from my trip to Negril, Jamaica.  I wish I could say that I had a blast but honestly, I thought it would be much better than it was.  Negril is a very laid back town for those who want to lie on the beach.  I prefer to tan on the beach during the day and go to dinner/nightlife in the evening.  Hence my jumping pictures!  I had plenty of extra time to play around on the beach.  I was a dancer all my life all the way through college.  Since college, I have barely stretched so I'm pretty proud of these photos!!!  Makes me want to stretch daily.

The sunsets were magnificent!  Just look at the photos, I've never see anything like that.  We also spent a day at the waterfalls which was beautiful. We gave our camera to the tour guide but the camera was not on auto-focus.  Every photo he took of us in the falls came out blurry :(.

I'm wearing my favorite green cover up from Missguided (sold out in green but they have it in white on sale).  It's a little big for me but I absolutely love it (wearing size 10 US).  I was looking for something just like it: a long, flowy gown. The only change I had to make to it was to add 2 buttons around my inner thighs.  The dress stays closed by a string tie around the waist and the rest of it flows.  I wanted a little more coverage on the legs so I added 2 snaps.  My bandeau bikini top is from Rio De Sol and I highly recommend it if you are busty like me (wearing a L).  The cup is stiff (not that bendy, flexible type) and therefore creates a flattering look.  It also stays up like no other.  I did all my jumps with it and it never moved.  My bottom is a fringe bottom from Solkissed swimwear (on sale).  It's adorable.

Thanks for visiting!

TBT to Thailand

Thailand is one of the best places on earth.  I absolutely had a blast there.  These photos are from August 2011 with a layover in both Japan and Hong Kong.  Bangkok is just like any other big city but Phuket is to die for.  With beautiful beaches, gorgeous weather, and incredible food, what more could you ask for?  Besides Phuket and the food, one of my favorite things about Thailand were the people.  They are the most hospitable people I've ever met. There is nothing bad I can say about Thailand.  If you ever have the opportunity to go....take it, you won't be disappointed.

Enjoy!
